About PENAS:

Heart of Agribusiness &

National Innovation Barn

PENAS is a three-yearly grand stage that connects 150,000+ Indonesian agricultural, fishing, and forestry workers.

June 20-25, 2026

David Tony Sports Arena, Gorontalo.

A brief History

The National Farmers and Fishermen Week (PENAS) is a major gathering organized by the Mainstay Farmers and Fishermen Contact (KTNA). Initiated in 1971 and held every three years, PENAS has evolved into one of the most important events on the official government calendar. It is the primary platform where farmers, fishermen, forest farmers, researchers, extension workers, the private sector, and the government meet to exchange information and experiences, develop partnerships and networks, and promote results and innovation.

The main objective is to raise enthusiasm, responsibility and independence as the main actors in agricultural, fisheries and forestry development.

Trillion Rupiah Opportunity:
Why is the 2026 PENAS Exhibition Crucial?

The government has planned a food security budget of Rp 164.4 trillion in the 2026 Draft State Budget. This large budget is directed directly to the field for self-sufficiency programs: land optimization, rice field creation, provision of tools, technology, and superior seeds.

Many programs require rapid implementation and ready-to-supply partners. The PENAS exhibition is a strategic platform and the perfect venue for:
